What Does Cracked Corners of the Mouth Mean?

Dr. berg talks about cracked corners of the mouth and what is behind this.

This is a deficiency of vitamin B2.

Refined grains, polished rice, birth control pills, liver damage and IBS can be the deeper cause of a B2 (Riboflavin) deficiency.

Food high in B2 are: dairy, eggs, liver, leafy vegetables, legumes, mushrooms and almonds.

Symptoms of angular cheilitis will almost exclusively appear at the corners of the mouth.

The symptoms can be both painful and frustrating. Symptoms can vary from having only mild redness to having open, bleeding blisters.
