Dental neck is a clinical used term and refers to the transition of the enamel/tooth cement.

Either tooth paste containing fluoride and/or arginine helps or special sealing varnishes at the dentist´s.
Basically women more often suffer from pain in the dental neck than men due to women´s natural estrogen variation.
The women´s gums, dental neck even the whole mouth can be more sensitive for a while. It is important not to decrease the oral hygiene at this stage, even when the gum is a bit bleeding!
